Environmental issues are a major concern worldwide, with climate change being one of the most pressing issues. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), global temperatures have already risen by 1.1°C since pre-industrial times, and we are currently on track for a 3°C temperature rise by the end of the century. This will lead to more frequent and intense heatwaves, floods, droughts, and wildfires, resulting in severe economic and social impacts. In addition to climate change, other environmental issues include air and water pollution, deforestation, loss of biodiversity, and plastic pollution. It is estimated that 9 million people die each year due to pollution-related causes, and up to 12 million hectares of forest are lost annually. These issues require urgent action from individuals, businesses, and governments worldwide to mitigate their impact and preserve the planet for future generations.
