WILD LOVE PRESERVE
Founded in 2010, the mission of Wild Love Preserve engages public and private lands to protect and preserve wild horses in their native environments and nurture the legacy of respective indigenous ecosystems as an interconnected whole by bringing stakeholders from all sides together in a new light. "Wild Love Preserve is named such because it is committed to the greater good of our planet, now and for future generations - centering on humanity, compassion, sustainability, two-legged accountability, and our responsibility to the whole. It is not but a mere fenced wild horse sanctuary. The objective of Wild Love Preserve is the protection and preservation of native ecosystems as an interconnected and balanced whole. Great beauty and benefit lie in the fact indigenous wild horses offer such unique opportunity to achieve this intent by walking new paths together.” -Andrea Maki, Founder

BUFFALO FIELD CAMPAIGN
To stop the harassment and slaughter of Yellowstone’s wild buffalo herds; protect the natural habitat of wild, free-roaming buffalo and other native wildlife; and work with all people—especially Indigenous Nations—to honor and protect the sacredness of the wild buffalo. We pursue our mission through a variety of coordinated strategies: In the field: Our volunteers conduct regular patrols to track and locate buffalo. Teams monitor buffalo movements; document herd activity with field notes, photographs, and video; and remain prepared to initiate nonviolent action as necessary to defend these magnificent animals. In a great example of BFC synergy: our field patrols also collect scientific data for use by our legal and legislative teams, biologists, and other organizations—adding another layer of value to our field campaigns. In the political/legislative arena: We support a variety of efforts to inform local, state, and federal politicians and legislators of the plight of the buffalo—and the importance of wild populations. In the courts: Our legal team fights judicial battles to defend the buffalo’s right to roam freely and live according to their natural instincts. In the public mind: In addition to providing information for educators, BFC actively promotes the needs of the buffalo through various public forums such as community meetings; information booths in and around Yellowstone; select conventions, expositions, and festivals; our annual roadshow; and more.

Bella SPCA
"Serving as a lifeline of support, hope, and care for the people of Oklahoma and their pets." Bella SPCA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Oklahoma City created to assist low-income, elderly or terminally ill pet owners with the cost of veterinary care when it cannot be afforded and also find permanent loving homes for rescued animals. Every year thousands of animals are euthanized or die because the people who love them cannot financially absorb the cost of veterinary care. Stray and abandoned animals have even fewer options when brought into a clinic or veterinary office with no owner to pay for their care. At Bella, we believe every animal deserves to receive the best possible care regardless of the owner’s ability to pay. When an owner brings an animal into a clinic for care and cannot afford the cost, the attending veterinarian can contact Bella for assistance. If assistance is given, the owner must agree to volunteer 8 hours of their time either at our organization or a local shelter in their area. Stray or abandoned animals are cared for with no stipulation attached. We also require that every animal sponsored by us be spayed/neutered and micro chipped. Micro chipping is an inexpensive way to reunite lost pets with the owners who are responsible for them. Every animal adopted into a loving home by Bella is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heart worm tested, and micro chipped to give them the best possible start in their new life.
OKLAHOMA CITY, OklahomaFreedom Farm Animal Sanctuary
Our mission is to rescue farmed animals who have been neglected, abused, starved, or abandoned by providing them with food, shelter and medical care so that they can live the remainder of their lives free from pain and suffering. We also raise public awareness of the plight of mistreated animals through outreach programs, school visits, and animal sponsorship opportunities. In this way, we demonstrate that providing a permanent, nurturing environment for all agricultural animals is our role as a responsible society that values the sanctity of animal life. We envision that the animals we rescue will become ambassadors for other farm animals who are victimized by their owners; that our outreach programs in schools, churches and other entities will call attention to the heartless treatment that far too many agricultural animals experience; and that a steady stream of donations and animal sponsorships will ensure that our sanctuary will continue to grow in size, while gaining regional recognition and respect.
