Our Mission
Association for Humanitarian Development (AHD) is working to bring Peace, Unity, Justice and Harmony to uplift poor rural communities towards sustainable development. AHD started searching sustainable solutions and innovated Nadi filter solution for safe drinking water from 1 unit to 1,000 during 2006 and now in 2024 about 365,000 Nadi filters in the rural communities across Pakistan and Africa and still going on to help poor rural people and make UN SDG # 6 happen to access safe and clean drinking water for all.
Who We Are
AHD want to share its innovation Nadi filter solution for rural poor, flood affected families in Pakistan and Africa as AHD working to bring Peace, Unity, Justice and Harmony to uplift poor rural communities towards sustainable development. AHD started searching sustainable solutions and innovated Nadi filter solution for safe drinking water from 1 unit to 1,000 during 2005-2006 and now in 2024 about 365,000 Nadi filters in the rural communities across Pakistan, Asia and Africa and still going on to help poor rural people and make UN SDG # 6 happen to access safe and clean drinking water for all & AHD working to empower rural poor communities and the next target to reach one million 1,000,000 families in Pakistan and to access safe and clean drinking water for 10 million people and to help UN SDG # 6 to access safe and clean drinking water for all.
AHD won 08 international awards over safe drinking water Nadi filter and AHD also won HIEX Innovation Exchange award and top position from Pakistan and 2nd position at the World Health Assembly -2024, selected to accelerate safe drinking water in rural poor communities

The average cost of a Nadi filter, which normally serves a household of 12-20 people is only US $ 30 to 40 in Asia and African Countries. That includes the cost of material, installation, transportation, the cost of training on the filter operation/maintenance and important health and hygiene community mobilization.
