Our Mission

Cancer StrongHER promotes an active lifestyle for female survivors of all types of cancer through fitness boxing, tennis, yoga, Pilates, FitCamp, Taekwondo and other activities that are free-of-charge to all female survivors who wish to participate. We give survivors the chance to fight back against cancer and regain control of their well-being through a free and fun active-lifestyle program.

Who We Are

Cancer treatment takes a toll physically, emotionally and financially. Women who have undergone surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation are faced with a host of issues stemming from invasive treatments. They encounter range of motion issues, lymphedema, pain, weakness, tightness, fatigue, feelings of isolation and loss, and much, much more. Studies show exercise can help survivors not only feel better, but also reduce chances of cancer recurrence. The fight against cancer does not stop with the last drip of chemotherapy, the last zap of radiation, or the last stitch from surgery and neither should support for these women. Cancer StrongHER is here to help survivors rebuild strength and maintain their health among a supportive community of women.
