Our Mission
The Indigenous & World Music Hall of Fame & Library is our mission.
Music is our universal starting point, but we're also preserving something much larger: stories, wisdoms, art, identity, languages, traditions. We're building three bridges at once:
A generational bridge connecting elders, shamans and wisdom keepers to youth, so heritage can be shared before that opportunity disappears.
A cultural bridge so a story rooted in one tradition becomes discoverable by someone who's never encountered it before.
A bridge between the virtual realm and the real world, turning a digital encounter into a real one.
Who We Are
Not Just a Hall of Fame, Museum or a Library. A Portal. A Door.
DIVINA WORLD Foundation is building the world’s first Indigenous & World Music Hall of Fame, Museum and Library. It is not housed in a building that could flood or burn, but in a resilient, immersive digital home open to the whole world, including older adults, people with disabilities, and anyone physically or mentally housebound, whose spirit still longs to wander, connect, and belong.
Think of it less as an archive and more as a door. You walk through it, and on the other side is a living world for Indigenous music, stories, languages and cultural knowledge created to endure across geography and generations. A world where a family's story, like the Cherokee heritage passed from grandmother to grandson, is not a footnote in a biography. It is a portal you can enter, a song you can hear in its full ancestral context, a lineage you can trace back through generations.
Picture the island of Gardi Sugdub, off the coast of Panama and home to the Guna Yala fishing community until rising seas forced its people to relocate to the mainland in 2024. Now imagine a twelve-year-old girl in Fresno, her grandmother born on that very island, stepping into a virtual reconstruction of the island as her grandmother once knew it, hearing the fishing songs passed down for a thousand years, brought back to life.
The Conectado Partnership
DWF is not building this alone. Our entire Hall of Fame, Museum & Library will exist inside the Conectado-verse, a fully virtual world which means it is available for anyone to access, from anywhere, and anytime. Building our fully virtual world takes AI engineers, developers, and designers to turn our framework and designs into a living, interactive experience.
Conectado and DWF hold a simple non-negotiable standard for how these tools are used: with consent, context, and credit given to the person whose story it is. When a story is captured, it honors the voice of the storyteller who owns it.
Through our partnership with Conectado and their network, we have a potential path into the lives of more than five million students already connected through Western Governors University, HACU, Stanford, Berkeley, and the Mark Cuban AI Foundation. Even reaching a fraction of these students, in classrooms and communities around the world, means sharing Indigenous and global stories, songs, and histories with young people who might otherwise never have access to them.
Your gift helps make that possible.
