The mission of Special Gifts Theatre is to foster self-confidence, social, speech and language skills in individuals with disabilities, using educational and therapeutic techniques with the stage as the platform, integrating creativity and fun. Grassroots Leadership works for a more just society where prison profiteering, mass incarceration, deportation, and criminalization are things of the past. Every day, Grassroots Leadership staff, members, and allies get up to build power in communities, to change policies and practices of mass incarceration and deportation, to transform the narrative of criminalization, and to build a healthy and solvent organization that allows us to achieve our goals.
