The Millennium Project
Purpose: Improve humanity’s prospects for building a better future. Mission: Improve thinking about the future and make that thinking available through a variety of media for feedback to accumulate wisdom about the future for better decisions today. Vision: A global foresight network of Nodes, information, and software, building a global collective intelligence system recognized for its ability to improve prospects for humanity. A think tank on behalf of humanity, not on behalf of a government, or an issue, or an ideology, but on behalf of building a better future for all of us.

Child Guidance Center of Southern CT, Inc.
The Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut provides mental health services to children struggling with psychological, behavioral, developmental, social, or family problems, age birth to 18, in Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, and New Canaan, Connecticut. Our purpose is to reduce emotional suffering and dysfunctional behavior, strengthen families, and help every child achieve their optimal potential. Children in our programs cope with a variety of factors that impact their health and happiness, including bullying, family difficulties, school challenges, neglect, or even physical and sexual abuse. We have a range of programs to meet the unique needs and circumstances of every child and family. From ongoing therapy to emergency crisis response, we ensure the safety of our youngest community members, teaching them to take charge and self-manage their challenges so that they can enjoy a strong, healthy childhood. To ensure that our services reach every corner of the community, we have five office locations including on-site at a charter school. Money is never a barrier to a child who needs our help, as no family is turned away. We provide financial assistance to families who cannot afford the cost of therapy, ensuring that children at greatest risk receive the help they need.

Project Peanut Butter
Across the world, severe acute malnutrition is the largest killer of children under 5 years of age, contributing to nearly half of all childhood deaths (more than 3 million children per year). We produce peanut based ready-to-use therapeutic foods (RUTF) locally in factories in Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Ghana. Our factories are internationally accredited by UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders, and the World Food Program, and our product is considered the standard of care worldwide for severely malnourished children. We strive to use as many local ingredients and staff as possible. In addition, we distribute the therapeutic food at our own mobile clinics, where PPB nurses assess children for malnutrition and provide qualifying children with life-saving food at no charge.
