SMC1A Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization with the vision to bring awareness, accelerate research, and find a cure for SMC1A, and ultimately transform the lives of those affected. Our goal is to narrow research specifically to the mutations of the SMC1A gene which cause intractable epilepsy and neurodevelopmental and medical challenges, and to accelerate full spectrum research to find a cure and effective treatments.

Affordable housing has never been more important. Since our founding in 1978, we have helped almost 10,000 people move into over 4,000 homes of their own in the Northbay area. Many of these homes made local living possible for families who would otherwise been renters or had to commute long distances to work.

Jesus for Asia, Inc is a self-supporting, Christian ministry with a variety of humanitarian and Gospel outreach projects in Asia. Currently, we have or support projects in five countries in Asia, with goals to eventually have a presence in every country. There are billions of people in the world who have no access to the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ and we have committed our lives to giving them the opportunity to transform their lives.
