At Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS), we are grateful for the generosity of our volunteers and mentors alike. Our goals are to match more than 100 children with dedicated volunteer mentors, to increase the communities awareness of our services, and to build partnerships with community organizations and businesses alike. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Racine and Kenosha Counties is dedicated to establishing successful community-based mentoring relationships for youth in need, which help build brighter futures, better schools and stronger communities for all. We are actively recruiting volunteer mentors-men, women and couples-to be matched with one of the 70 children on our waiting list. The bottom line is that mentoring works! BEST Kids Mentoring Program is guided by the belief that all children are talented. Through our one-on-one volunteer mentoring, our extensive training, staff support and our experiential-learning-based peer group, we encourage our youth to discover and develop their unique skills and abilities. Beginning with children as young as six and continuing, as needed, until adulthood, BEST Kids Mentoring Program works to enable youth to develop a positive sense of self, to acquire teamwork and group social skills, and to become productive members of society.

Africa Yoga Project is a grassroots 501c3 Not-For-Profit Organization that has introduced thousands of students in Kenya to the practice of yoga, as well provides educational scholarships, job training, food stipends, temporary housing and health services. Our core group of students are from impoverished backgrounds in Nairobi, Kenya, are between 16-30 years old and live on under $2 per day. Many are personally affected by HIV/AIDS and are living/have once lived on the streets.
