Memoirs Of WWII is a short film series dedicated to preserving the history of the Second World War and the memory of those who served. Each month features a new episode, telling the personal story of an individual who endured the greatest conflict the earth has ever seen. Through the personal accounts of real life World War II veterans, our goal is to honor their sacrifice, and to grant younger generations an understanding of what it was like to live through the war and what lessons can be learned from it. Achungo is dedicated to transforming the lives of orphans and destitute children in Kenya, providing care and education, giving them hope and a future, while nurturing integrity and responsibility. We provide food, shelter, clothing, healthcare and education for orphaned and destitute children, currently serving 277 children ages 3 to 17 in preschool through 8th grade and sponsoring 15 in various high schools. Our long- term goal is to enable all who are able to complete secondary school, college and/or vocational training that equips them to be able to support themselves.
