Through media arts education, Wide Angle Youth Media cultivates and amplifies the voices of Baltimore youth to engage audiences across generational, cultural, and social divides. Our programs inspire creativity and instill confidence in young people, empowering them with skills to navigate school, career, and life. Since 2000, Wide Angle Youth Media has worked with over 5,500 youth from across Baltimore City who have produced hundreds of digital media projects about their lives and communities. Basic Dignities is dedicated to undertaking projects bringing basic human dignities, including clean water, education, health care, and more to communities both nationally and internationally where such services are insufficient for the wellbeing of those who live there. Each project is an opportunity to not only bring life-extending care to those in need, but to potentially increase the use of sustainable materials, improve on currently used systems, and offer the means for communities to take genuine ownership of new programs and systems implemented. All projects will be based on community need and provided on a charitable basis without consideration to race, religion, or any other legally protected status.

Food for Others, Inc.
For people who have lost a job, suffered a mental or physical health setback, or are struggling to overcome other obstacles to independence, Food for Others provides free food in these ways: 1) Warehouse Emergency food to individuals and families: We provide 3-5 days' worth of non-perishables, as well as milk and eggs and other fresh food for those referred to us by social-service providers. Those clients who also qualify based on low income may also receive monthly food supplements that we order on their behalf from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA. 2) Neighborhood Sites Distributions - We provide limited but free groceries to people via volunteers to sites in low-income neighborhoods every evening Monday through Friday, no questions asked. 3) Community Partners: We provide bulk food items to about 20 community-based organizations on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for churches, homeless shelters, and other groups serving at-risk residents to provide to their clients food. 4) Power Pack Program (P3): We provide weekend food for elementary school children in Fairfax Public Schools, primarily children in the free and reduced-price meals program, and others referred by school counselors, to make sure kids don't go hungry on weekends.
