It is the goal of the ACDHH to develop and motivate a sense of self-confidence, independence, and pride in personal accomplishments; to develop self-reliance; to encourage a network of sharing with others; and to recognize each individual's abilities as participating members of society. In addition, the ACDHH aspires to increase the public's awareness and sensitivity toward the culture and life challenges of those who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
