The Boys' & Girls' Brigade is a 501(c)(3) youth organization serving boys and girls in the Fox Cities. Since 1900, the Brigade has provided a community center for youth to develop leadership skills, explore new ideas, foster relationships with peers and adult mentors, and challenge themselves to achieve their goals and dreams. In addition to our Brigade program offered from October-April in Neenah, Wisconsin, we also host camps at Onaway Island, a six-acre island located on the beautiful Chain O'Lakes in Waupaca, Wisconsin. The Wild Dolphin Project is a non-profit scientific research organization that studies and reports on a specific pod of free-ranging Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) in the Bahamas. Objectives of this long-term, non-invasive field research are to gather information on the natural history of these dolphins, including behaviors, social structure, communication, and habitat; and to report what we have learned to the scientific community and the general public. We believe in non-invasive work and primarily rely on photo and video identification, benign fecal collection for DNA work, and maintain a mutual respect for the animals we work with in the wild.
