The Gowanus Dredgers
Our mission is to assemble and educate a diverse group of individuals, businesses and organizations to improve the Gowanus waterfront in Brooklyn and foster awareness of issues affecting New York- New Jersey harbor. The Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club intends to contribute to transforming a dilapidated, historically significant estuary into a self-sustaining, environmentally friendly and healthy waterfront to be enjoyed and treasured by current and future generations. By encouraging waterfront activity and stewardship of the waterway, we reconnect the community with their shoreline. Renewing this relationship strengthens the desire for remediation of our harbor.

Drilling For Life's Mission is to perform water well drilling and related water development projects to meet the physical, material and spiritual needs of the less fortunate people in the world who lack the basic need of clean drinking water. To develop and commission water well projects and support efforts of community development in these same areas with help for building churches, schools or orphanages to advance the cause of Christ's Kingdom.

We are the only day shelter in St. Louis providing meals to our homeless and food-insecure guests 365 days a year. Through contributions from donors, partners, and volunteers, our kitchen serves over 3,000 meals a week.
