Conservation Volunteers International Program is dedicated to helping sustain some of the world’s greatest landscapes, cultural heritage sites, and biodiversity. We accomplish our mission through ordinary people performing extraordinary volunteer services. Our projects include maintaining and building trails, restoring archaeological sites, and protecting and restoring critical biological and natural habitats.

JQY supports and empowers LGBTQ children, teens and young adults in the Jewish community, with a special focus on those from Orthodox, Chassidic, and Sephardi/Mizrachi homes. JQY promotes the mental health, emotional well-being and physical safety of these individuals by providing national crisis, communal, and advocacy resources, as well as in-person support programming in New York.

COMMUNITY AGROECOLOGY NETWORK

CAN has been using an agroecological approach to food systems change for 12 years. Our strategy is driven by community-based action research partnerships. At CAN, agroecology brings together scientists and farmers to produce knowledge and develop practices for a more sustainable food system. While ecologically-sound production practices are at the core of agroecology, they are not viable without vibrant local food economies that foster fair market channels and farmer control of seeds and land.
