Nalani Horse Rescue
Nalani Horse Rescue (Nalani is Hawaiian for “the Heavens”) is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to horse rescue and rehabilitation. Our mission is to provide horses in need of rescue with care, rehabilitation and training with the goal of finding them safe, forever homes. At Nalani, we are committed to giving these horses an opportunity to meet their potential in a loving, healthy and trusting environment. Nalani is located at Alanwood Farm, in Broad Run, VA. It is a peaceful haven for horses who have been through trauma.

SUNNYVALE COMMUNITY SERVICES
Sunnyvale Community Services (SCS) is designated as the Emergency Assistance Network agency (EAN) for all zip codes in Sunnyvale, CA. As the safety net agency in our community, SCS addresses immediate critical needs to help families and seniors stay housed with food on the table and utilities turned on as they work toward self-sufficiency. We serve every eligible client who comes to us for help, never turning anyone away due to lack of resources - even though that has become increasingly challenging with the rapidly growing need for our help. Our clients are Sunnyvale residents and homeless families. Last year we served over 6,800 individuals, disbursing nearly $800,000 in financial aid. Families receiving financial aid received a personalized 3-month budget to help them get back on track. As one of the largest partners of Second Harvest Food Bank, we engage over 1,000 volunteers help to distribute 850 tons of nutritious food and fresh produce annually. In the last three years, SCS has built a strong foundation in comprehensive case management for homeless individuals as well as seniors and families in crisis. We have collaborated on new health and wellness programs to support healthy nutrition and financial education and credit repair to help clients become self-sufficient. In 2015, we launched our Supportive Services for Veterans Families, funded by the U.S. Veterans Administration to assist veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to move into stable housing.

KEREN-OR INC
Keren Or Jerusalem Center for Blind Children with Multiple Disabilities is 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the education and care of children in Israel who are visually impaired and also cognitively, developmentally, and/or physically disabled. Our mission is to provide our students with comprehensive care, stimulating educational exercises, and rehabilitative therapies designed to help them reach their full potential and lead lives that are meaningful and productive. Keren Or is the only therapy center of its kind in the world, under Jewish auspices, devoted exclusively to the visually impaired population. The Keren Or approach works with a lot of love, patience, and professionalism on the part of our dedicated team, persistent students, and supportive families. We focus optimistically on what each student might be able to achieve, if given the opportunity and the support. Students of our nonresidential center utilize different therapy and educational services during the day and are able to go home and spend time with their families at night. Our facilities, dedicated staff, and individualized therapy programs allow each of our students to reach his or her maximum potential. To meet the individual needs of our students, who range in the severity of their disabilities, our staff of therapists and caregivers work together to create a comprehensive customized care plan for each child. Each day, we witness little miracles when a child learns to walk, or when a child discovers how to communicate, or when a child finds joy in music and play. At Keren Or, we want all children to have the ability to simply be a child and as such, we provide top quality care and support for these children regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Keren Or’s New York office supports the Center in Jerusalem by communicating with and engaging donors, as well as providing opportunities for the community to get involved. With the help of our generous donors and funds from state and local municipalities, we aim to limit the financial burden on families so their children are able to benefit from the services provided by Keren Or. We are fortunate to have a very involved board at Keren Or who both advocate for, and provide oversight of our work. The Women’s Division is an active part of outreach and fundraising efforts efforts for Keren Or, These dedicated women host a variety of social and cultural activities to connect potential and current supporters with our mission. B’nei Mitzvah-aged children, high school students, college students, young professionals, and adults of all ages can become involved with and support the Keren Or mission in New York City as well as on the ground in Israel.

The Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition (BBCC) is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to various breast and gynecological cancer concerns. Founded in 1993, the BBCC continues to be a grass-roots organization, providing an array of patient support services, education and advocacy programs. The BBCC focuses on five essential goals... Prevention - Support of the Precautionary Principle, Prevention is the Cure: encouragement and education about a healthy alternative lifestyle. Research - Promote legislation to increase funding for environmental research and provide funding for specific breast cancer projects. Education - Providing up to date information through our quarterly newsletter and information packets. We offer adult and student environmental awareness programs designed to help participants reduce their exposure to toxic chemicals. Services - To offer breast and gynecological cancer patients a wealth of services paid for and facilitated by the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition; such as the Lend a Helping Hand, SOS and the Pink Ribbon Programs. Support - to provide support and referral services to breast and gynecological cancer and their families.
