NourishED Research Foundation
The NourishED Research Foundation, Inc. (NRFi) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 99-2669462) that uses research to change the conversation around eating disorders and their social justice roots. We believe knowledge is nourishing and we prioritize research activities, findings, tools and skills (including research literacy) in each arm of our organization, leveraging research findings to empower breakthroughs in eating disorder awareness, understanding, prevention, treatment access, and clinical and lived experiences. We do this through a four-armed approach that aims to fill in gaps recognized in clinical research care in each of teh following areas and ways: (1) We provide free/low-cost virtually-accessible whole health resources for folks with low access ("entrusting your health into your hands"). (2) We provide clinical resources and trainings for providers that improve detection, screeining, diagnosis, treatment planning, stigma and other systemic barriers to care. (3) We use inclusive research to provide a more complete understanding of eating disorder pathology and treatment needs (including the 85-95% of folks who go undiagnosed, untreated, and historically are excluded from research samples). (4) We use social media campaigns and education outreach initiatives to change the environments eating disorders occur in. We are a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to empowering women in Rwanda through access to markets and educations. We partner with more than 850 female artisans to design and sell beautifully handcrafted products around the world. The artisans earn fair-trade, sustainable income for their products which enables them to lift themselves and their families out of poverty. We then pool the profits from product sales, along with grants and donations, to fund business education programs for the women who handcraft our products.

East Los Angeles Boys and Girls Club
An out-of-school-time site in the heart of unincorporated East Los Angeles, we serve over 2,000 youth annually plus another 2,000 through our non-profit partnerships. Our youth age range is 5 through 18. We do what others said could not be done, 100% of our teens achieve HS graduation in a community where 34% of adults have a HS diploma. Through our unique initiative, M.E.N.T.O.R. we focus on an individualized action plan for each child to fill the gaps by supporting them in their areas of need. We promote their social, educational, health, character development and vocational guidance. We strive to enhance the quality of their lives as participating members of a richly diverse urban society.

CASA for Children of Bergen County
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children of Bergen County believes every child who's been abused or neglected deserves to have a dedicated advocate speaking up for their best interest in court, at school and in our community. To accomplish this, CASA educates and empowers diverse community volunteers who ensure each child's needs remain a priority in an over-burdened child welfare system. When the state steps in to protect a child's safety because the people responsible for protecting them have not, a judge appoints a trained CASA volunteer to make independent and informed recommendations and help the judge decide what's best for the child.
