For more than a decade, we have developed, built and maintained homes, apartments, facilities and shelters to give Colorado’s homeless a place to call home and opportunity to build second chances.

Atlas Corps engages leaders committed to the nonprofit sector in 6 to 18 month, professional fellowships at organizations (like Ashoka, Peace Corps, and Nike Foundation) to learn best practices, build organizational capacity, and return home to create a network of global changemakers. Our network of Fellows includes more than 300 nonprofit leaders from 70 countries and 130 Host Organizations. Recently, we launched a State Department partnership as part of a White House Initiative to engage 100 civil society leaders in our Fellowship - Emerging Global Leaders Initiative-Atlas Corps Fellowship.

The Museum was founded as the Hellenic Museum and Cultural Center in 1983. Nine years later, the HMCC opened its first facility on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. Then, in July 2004, the Museum moved to a new location at 801 South Adams Street in Chicago’s Greektown. In 2009, the Museum re-branded itself the National Hellenic Museum with a new logo incorporating the Greek key design and a new mission statement: “Connecting generations through Greek history, culture, and art.”
