Our namesake, Gilda Radner, was one of the original cast members of “Saturday Night Live.” Throughout her time on the show, she created a number of enduring characters, including Roseanne Roseannadanna, Emily Litella and Lisa Loopner. Laughter and love were central themes of Gilda’s career and life, including in her marriage to actor and comedian Gene Wilder, the original Willy Wonka.

Our Mission Our mission is empower the poor to be and to create change. Charged with the words of Jesus, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19),” we aim to liberate the poor into the fullness of life. Our Vision We do church, differently. Founded on the teachings of Jesus, we minister to the poor — the least of these, and meet needs in a sustainable manner. We don’t just talk the talk.
